Year 2025, Volume: 15 Issue: 6, 318 - 318, 30.11.2025

Abstract

Dear Editor,

I am writing to you regarding my article entitled “The Prognostic Value of Systemic Immune Inflammation Index in Children with Carbon Monoxide Poisoning,” which was published in the Journal of Contemporary Medicine (DOI: 10.16899/jcm.1347034).

I have recently noticed some inadvertent errors in the statistical analysis methods and tabulation processes used in my manuscript. These unintentional mistakes have raised concerns about the scientific accuracy and reliability of the study. The errors stem from the statistical processing and tabulation of the data, and I have come to the conclusion that the article, in its current form, does not provide accurate and reliable information.

In accordance with my scientific and ethical responsibility, I respectfully request the withdrawal of my article from your journal to prevent these errors from misleading readers. I believe that this is the most appropriate step to preserve the scientific integrity of the study.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this process, and I kindly request that the withdrawal decision be processed in accordance with the ethical principles of your journal.

Sincerely,
Dr. Emine Özdemir Kaçer
