Journal of Continuous Vocational Education and Training

Our scientific and double blind referee review journal aims to contribute to the continuous professional development of our teachers and academicians.In JCVET, in addition to the original research articles case report, thesis summary, book summary, technical report and other kinds of articles can also be published.

All kinds of scientific studies that will contribute to the continuous professional development of teachers and academicians and enable them to follow the innovations are covered by the publication objectives of our journal.

 General rules

·        The views expressed in the articles published in this journal belong to the authors.

·        In this journal, the publication ethics of TUBA and TUBITAK are accepted

·        The articles submitted are checked with the plagiarism software.

·        Copyrights of the works published in the journal are transferred to the journal by the author.

Types of articles that can be published

Research paper, case report, review, translation, conference paper, short notice, letter to the editor, note, meeting summary, law review, decision review, book review, correction, editorial, biography, news, news, image presentation, technical note , thesis abstract types can be published.

Preparation of articles

The language of publication is Turkish and/or English.

The articles should be prepared according to the order given below.

a) TITLE (Turkish and English), Times New Roman, normal, bold-dark, page centered, 12 font size

b) AUTHOR NAMES (in bold and all uppercase letters) and their addresses (in italics and lowercase letters) and the e-mail address of the author (in the lower left of the first page),

c) ABSTRACT (Turkish and English), should be between 150-200 words. Times New Roman, normal, 10 font size, 1 line spaced, blocked both side.

d) Keywords (Turkish and English, italic)

e) INTRODUCTION (purpose, scope and method)

f) MAIN TEXT (universe-sample / study group, data collection tools, studied materials, definitions, constraints, methods used, analysis of data, process steps, etc.)

g) FINDINGS / CONCLUSIONS and DISCUSSION or DISCUSSION AND SUGGESTIONS

h) ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND THANKS

Article format

The length of the article can be approximately 10-20 pages (including abstract, keywords and bibliography between 5000 and 8000 words).

Articles should be written in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 1,5 line spaced and blocked both sides.

For the text, 12 font size,

For the table content, citations within the scope of qualitative findings and footnotes should be used in 10 font size.

Subtitles should be written in bold and left-justified.

Author Information

If there is a footnote at the end of the first page, the title of the author should be written as a footnote after the (*) sign before the first footnote.

Disclosures

Footnotes should be included in sequential numbers at the end of the page. Footnotes should be written in 10-point format, with 1 line spacing and justified.

REFERENCES

The subject…….can be evaluated within the framework of …… (KEYDER, 1989).

According to ÖNIŞ……………in (2005).

Quotations are written as author's surname, article / book year and page number; (Keyman

2005: 111) or (della Porta, 2010: 195-205).

When more than one author is used (GÖLE, 2002; 2010);

When more than one work of an author was published in the same year (TARROW, 1997a; 1997b);

When more than one work of an author is published in the same year, given the page number:

(SMITH, 2002a: 195; SMITH, 2002b: 80)

The work of more than one author is ranked by year when referenced; (TARROW, 1998; della PORTA; 2002; SMITH, 2010) (note: published in the same year, alphabetically ranked when more than two studies are used).

RESOURCES

References should be written in 9-point and single-spaced order according to author surnames and given in accordance with APA 6 (American Psychological Association) standards.

When more than one work of the same author is used, the work of the author (s) should be chronologically ordered.

The names of books and journals should be written in italics.
