PROJECT BASED PROGRAMME MODEL PRACTICE- "CULTURAL CODE: PARADOX” ART PROJECT
Abstract
In this study, License Program, Painting Main Art Workshop lesson practice; Cultural Code: from the concept of paradox, live painting performance and group art project based on project based programme model in art education are examined. As the first application of Art Project, by creating a project idea and modeling or planning at the best way workshop studies were started. All the planning and pre-processing steps, main activities and preliminary informations on concept based group project were presented by project manager teaching staff to all students that will take part in the project. The first stage sketch drawing of project design was done with basic art materials in art studio. Cultural code:paradox , art project was performed under İzmir Dokuz Eylül University, Art Education Department, Painting Main Art Studio Course, in one semester with 3rd grade level nine studio students, in 2013-14 academic year, Spring Semester. Project processing steps has been photographed by participant observation regularly and participant students opinions regarding the final product and project process have been taken in writing. This research is the research within the action research. Implementation proved that students could create interdisciplinary artistic work in practice with fundamental knowledge related with the project and good planning and operation in concept based live performance group project in art education based on project programme model. The art work that was created as a result of the project (product) is permanently exhibited in the Faculty of Education Campus.
