Uluslararası Doğrudan Yatırımların Ekonomik Büyümeyi Belirleyici Faktörler Üzerine Etkilerinin Analizi: Türkiye Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Küreselleşme olgusunun hızla gelişme gösterdiği günümüzde uluslararası doğrudan yatırımlar hem gelişmiş hem de gelişmekte olan ülkeler açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, 1990-2016 yılları arasında Türkiye’ye gelen uluslararası doğrudan yatırımların ekonomik büyüme ve piyasa mekanizmaları arasındaki etkileşimi analizler yoluyla incelenmiştir. Çalışmadaki temel amaç, uluslararası doğrudan yatırımların hangi ekonomik göstergelere ne derecede, hangi yönde etkileri olduğunu ortaya koymaktır. Bu kapsamda analizler yapılırken Türkiye’nin Gayri Safi Yurtiçi Hasıla (GSYİH), Emtia Ticareti, Cari Fiyatlarla Uluslararası Doğrudan Yatırımların düzeyleri, Enflasyon Oranları ve Uluslararası Doğrudan Yatırımların GSYİH Oranı kullanılarak değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler çözümlenmiştir. Bu itibarla ADF ve PP Birim Kök Testi, Gecikme Uzunluğu Analizi, Eşbütünleşme Testi ve Granger Nedensellik Testi yapılarak değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin yönleri incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Uluslararası Doğrudan Yatırımlar ile emtia ticareti, GSYİH, büyüme oranı ile uzun dönemde doğru yönlü ilişki varken; enflasyon oranı ile arasında herhangi bir nedensellik tespit edilmemiştir.

Analysis of the Determinants of Economic Growth Effect of Foreign Direct Investment: A Review on Turkey

Abstract

Today, when the phenomenon of globalization is developing rapidly, international direct investments are of great importance for both developed and developing countries. In this study, between the years 1990-2016 and the market mechanisms of interaction between economic growth, foreign direct investments to Turkey were analyzed by analysis. The main purpose of the study is to reveal the effects of international direct investments on which economic indicators and in what direction. In this context, it analyzes, while Turkey's Gross Domestic Product, Commodity Trading, Current Prices Direct Foreign Investments levels, Inflation and Foreign Direct relationships between variables using GDP Ratio of capital investment has been resolved. In this respect, ADF and PP Unit Root Test, Lag Length Analysis, Cointegration Test and Granger Causality Test have been performed to examine the aspects of the relationship between variables. As a result, while there is a correct relationship between international direct investments and commodity trade, GDP, growth rate in the long run; no causality has been detected between it and the inflation rate.
