Intrapartum Fetal Hearth Rate Assessment

Abstract

Electronic fetal hearth rate monitoring is the most common monitorization method used during intrapartum period. The aim of intrapartum fetal monitoring is to determine fetal hypoxia and acidemia during labor and to provide appropriate interventions. The aim of this review is to go through the fundamentals of fetal monitoring and its practices in obstetrics.

Abstract

Elektronik fetal kalp hızı monitorizasyonu en sık kullanılan intrapartum izlem yöntemidir. İntrapartum fetal monitorizasyonun amacı eylem sırasında fetal hipoksi ve asidemiyi tespit ederek gerekli müdahalelerin yapılmasını sağlamaktır. Bu derlemenin amacı fetal monitorizasyonun temeli ve uygulamalarını gözden geçirmektir.
