Obstetric And Perinatal Outcome Of Adolescent Pregnant Women Who Delivered In A Training & Research Hospital

Abstract

Aim: In this study, we aimed to investigate the obstetric and neonatal outcomes of adolescent pregnant women who give birth in our hospital.Material and Methods: 1267 adolescent pregnant women ≤19 who gave birth in Dr. Sami Ulus Maternity and Womens’ Health Training and Research Hospital between January 2010-May 2015 were retrospectively investigated. Obstetric complications, tpye of delivery, gestational age and birth weight of infants were evaluated. Data from this study was analyzed using SPSS for Windows version 15. 0 soft ware. Frequencis, mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values were calculated.Results: The mean age of the study group was17.96±1.09 min14.0-max 19.0 .78.4% of the pregnant women had regular antenatal care where as 21.6% of them had irregular or no antenatal care. The mean gestational age was 38.43±2.16 20-42 weeks . Birth weight of the newborns were between 510 ± 4340 gr with a mean of 3086.70 ±488.40. 11.4 % of the newborns were

Bir Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde Doğum Yapan Adölesan Gebelerin Obstetrik ve Perinatal Sonuçları

Abstract

Giriş: Bu çalışmada hastanemizde doğum yapan adölesan gebelerin obstetrik ve neonatal sonuçlarını incelemeyi amaçladık.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Dr. Sami Ulus Kadın Doğum, Çocuk Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesinde Ocak 2010-Mayıs 2015 tarihleri arasında doğum yapmış olan adölesan ≤19 yaş 1267gebenin dosyaları retrospektif olarak incelendi. Obstetrik komplikasyonlar, doğum şekilleri, bebeklerin doğum haftaları ve doğum ağırlıkları değerlendirildi. İstatistiksel analizler için SPSS-15 programı kullanıldı. Frekanslar, ortalama, standart sapma, minimum ve maksimum değerler hesaplandı.Bulgular: Çalışmaya dahil edilen gebelerin yaş ortalaması 17.96±1.09 min14.0-max 19.0 idi. Adolesan gebelerin %78,4’ü yeterli antenatal bakım almışken, %21,6’sının ya hiç antenatal takip almadığı ya da takiplerinin yetersiz olduğu saptandı. Ortalama doğum haftası 38.43±2.16 20- 42 hafta , ortalama doğum ağırlığı ise 3086.70±488.40 510- 4340 gram olarak saptandı. 2500 gram altında doğan bebek oranı %9 olarak saptandı. Gebelerin %11,4’ünün 37 hafta altında doğum yaptığı saptandı. Sezaryen oranı %34,7 olup en sık sezaryen endikasyonu fetal distresti. %33,4’ünde obstetrik komplikasyon saptanmış olup, en sık izlenen komplikasyon preterm doğumdu %11,4 . Erken membran rüptürü %6,7 , amniyotik sıvı anormallikleri %5,1 , intrauterin gelişme geriliği %4,7 , preeklampsi %2,1 , plasenta previa %2,6 ve plasenta dekolmanı %0,2 ise saptanan diğer komplikasyonlardı.Sonuç: Adölesan gebelerde perinatal komplikasyonların yüksek oranda görülmesi, bu gebelerde maternal-perinatal morbidite ve mortalite riskinin artmış olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu gebelikleri azaltmak ve perinatal komplikasyonları en aza indirmek için daha geniş kapsamlı çalışmalar yapılmalıdır.
