Massive Postabortal Bleeding: A Case of Placenta Increata

Abstract

The incidence of placental adhesion disorders have been increased in recent years due to increasing birth rate by cesarean section. The diagnosis of placental anomalies is usually established by ultrasonography and undiagnosed cases could have abundant bleeding because of difficult placental separation. Rarely placental invasion disorders might be presented with abundant vaginal bleeding after abortion. In this report we aimed to present a placenta increta case admitted with abundant vaginal bleeding 3 weeks after 17- week abortion and considered as rest placenta firstly.

Masif Postabortal Kanama: Plasenta İnkreata Olgusu

Abstract

Plasenta invazyon bozuklukları insidansı son yıllarda sezeryan ile doğumların artması ile birlikte artış göstermiştir. Plasental patolojilerin tanısı genelde ultrasonografi ile konmaktadır ve tanı konmayan vakalarda doğum sırasında plasentanın zor ayrılmasıyla abondan şekilde kanama başlayabilmektedir. Nadir olarak plasenta invazyon bozuklukları abortus sonrası oluşan abondan vajinal kanama ile karşımıza çıkabilir. Bu vaka sunumunda 17 haftalık abortus yaptıktan üç hafta sonra abondan vajinal kanama ile gelen öncelikle rest abort olarak düşünülen bir plasenta inkreata vakası sunmayı amaçladık.
