EVALUTION OF THE PATIENTS WITH MILD FETAL TAHYCARDIA ON ANTENATAL CARDIOTOCOGRAPHY

Abstract

Aim: To investigate the perınatal and obstetric outcomes is of pregnant women with mild fetal tachycar- dia during cardiotocographic examination Material And Methods: 74 pregnant women admitted to in year 2011 with mild fetal tachycardia 160- 180 beats per minute were evaluated in a retrospective study. Patients with pregnancy complications were excluded from the study. Pregnant women at low risk and on antenatal care in whom mild fetal tachycardia were detected and fetal cardiac malformation was excluded were enrolled ın to study. The patients age, gravidity, parity vital signs, whole blood count urine anlysis thyroid function tests, delivery route and perinatal outcomes were recorded. Results: Fetal tachycardia was detected in 74 % 0.52 of 14096 patients who were admitted to delivery unit. Maternal fever, anemia and urinary tract infection was detected in 16.2 %, 12.1% and 9.4 % of the pregnant women, respectively. Thyroid dysfunction was not present in any of 74 patients. Patients with the diagnosis of fetal tachycardia was discharged from the hospital in %43.2 of the cases; whereas %17.5 underwent cesarean section. There was no admıssıon to neonatal care unit. Conclusıon: Antenatal fetal tachycardia, may be a transient situaton; however it may be associated with an ıncrease in cesaren due to presumptive diagnosis of fetal distress.

KARDİOTOKOGRAFİDE HAFİF FETAL TAŞİKARDİ TESPİT EDİLEN OLGULARIN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Antenatal fetal kalp atımı monitörizasyonu sırasında hafif fetal taşikardi tespit edilen gebelerde perinatal ve obstetrik sonuçların incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem ve Gereçler: Retrospektif olarak 2011 yılı içinde Zekai Tahir Burak Kadın Sağlığı Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Doğum Ünitesi’ne hafif fetal taşikardi 160-180 atım/dakika tespit edilip yatırılan 74 hasta değerlendirildi. Yüksek riskli gebeler çalışmaya dahil edilmedi. Antenatal klinikte rutin vizit sırasında hafif fetal taşikardi saptanan, fetal kalp hastalığı olmayan olgular çalışmaya alındı. Hastaların yaşı, gravida, paritesi, vital bulguları, tam kan sayımı, tam idrar tetkiki ve tiroid fonksiyon testleri ile doğum şekli ve peri- natal sonuçlar kaydedildi. Bulgular: Fetal taşikardi Doğum Ünitesi’ne yatan 14096 hastadan 74’ünde % 0.52 tespit edildi. Olguların %16,2’sinde maternal ateş, %12,1’inde mater- nal anemi, %9.4’ünde maternal idrar yolu enfeksiyo- nu tespit edildi. Maternal tiroid fonksiyon bozukluğu saptanmadı. Fetal taşikardi tanısıyla yatırılan olguların %43,2’si değerlendirme sonrası taburcu edildi. Olguların %17,5’inin fetal distres tanısıyla sezaryene alındığı görüldü. Yenidoğan ünitesine yatış izlenmedi. Sonuç: Antenatal fetal taşikardi, geçici kendiliğinden düzelebilen bir klinik olabileceği gibi, fetal distrese bağlı artmış sezaryen artışına da yol açabilmektedir
