Two Newborn Cases Of Sacrococcygal And Oropharyngeal Teratoma

Year 2018, Volume: 15 Issue: 4, 192 - 195, 01.10.2018

Abstract

Teratomas are generally congenital tumors which are diagnosed in infantile period and mostly seen in sacrococcygeal region. Histopathologically, they are mostly benign tumors. Its prognosis varies depending on factors such as size, location, and gestational week at birth. Oropharyngeal tumors are very rare and are also called epignatus. The main treatment is surgery. In this report, we present two cases of congenital teratoma with different prognosis and location.

Sakrokoksigeal ve Orofarengeal Teratomlu İki Yenidoğan Olgusu

Year 2018, Volume: 15 Issue: 4, 192 - 195, 01.10.2018
