Asthma and Pregnancy

Year 2017, Volume: 14 Issue: 1, 30 - 33, 01.01.2017

Abstract

Aim: Asthma is the most common chronic disease in pregnancy. It affects the quality of life of mother and is together with the perinatal risks. Especially, in mild and severe asthma patients who has frequent asthma exacerbations in pregnancy, risk of low birth weight, preterm delivery and congenital malformations is high. As a result, control of asthma is very important for both mother and fetus. The pregnant woman with asthma must be followed up by obstetrician and chest disease specialist together.

Gebelik ve Astım

Year 2017, Volume: 14 Issue: 1, 30 - 33, 01.01.2017
