Fertility-Sparing Approach For A Young Patient In Ovarian Cancer: Long-Term Follow-Up Of Ovarian Masses Against, Administration And Review Of The Literature

Year 2015, Volume: 12 Issue: 3, 130 - 132, 01.05.2015

Abstract

In the majority of young adult patients, long-term life expectancy is high with the current treatment of cancer. Although usually 5-year survival success criteria used in the follow-up of cancer, it is also possible as long as decades of survival. The level of implementation of the standard radical oncological treatment in young patients with early-stage ovarian cancer eliminates fertility. In spite of satisfactory oncological results, if patients are unable to establish her family, in terms of quality of life can be miserable. In this regard, fertility protective oncological surgery is remarkable with promising reproductive results. In this paper, early-stage 20 years old ovarian cancer patient who has been treated by fertility sparing surgery and over 10 years follow-up results are discussed in the view of literature.

Genç Bir Hastada Over Kanseri İçin Doğurganlık Koruyucu Yaklaşım: Uzun Dönemli Takipte Karşı Overde Kitle, Yönetimi ve Literatürün Gözden Geçirilmesi

Year 2015, Volume: 12 Issue: 3, 130 - 132, 01.05.2015

Abstract

Bu yazıda 20 yaşında doğurganlığını koruyarak tedavi ettiğimiz erken evre over kanserli hastanın 10 yıl üzerinde takip sonuçları literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
