Surgical treatment and adjuvant chemotherapy in borderline ovarian tumors

Year 2014, Volume: 11 Issue: 3, 101 - 104, 01.07.2014

Abstract

Borderline ovarian tumors are generally seen in reproductive ages. While the tumor does not have an invasive nature to ovarian tissue, it may have some features in the peritoneal cavity that could predict the prognosis. The surgical treatment and adjuvant chemotheraphy for borderline ovarian tumors are in debate. However in this situation knowing the literature and modifying the results of researches on each patient may draw the clinical approach on these tumors.

Borderline over tümörlerinde cerrahi ve adjuvan kemoterapi

Year 2014, Volume: 11 Issue: 3, 101 - 104, 01.07.2014

Abstract

Borderline over tümörleri genellikle reprodüktif yaşlarda görülmektedir.
