COMPARISON OF BLOOD CREATINE KINASE LEVELS İN NORMAL AND ECTOPİC PREGNANCY

Abstract

Aim: To compare the blood creatine kinase levels in normal pregnancy and ectopic in order to reveal the relationship. Materials And Method: 100 patients who had histopathologial confirmed diagnosis as ectopic pregnancy were included as the study group.100 women with normal intrauterine pregnancy of 6-8 weeks were inclu- ded in the study as in the control group of. Groups were compared in terms of the level of blood creatine. Results: We measured the value of CK 61 U/I in the control group, while we measured CK value 86.1 U/I in the working group respectively. CK level elevation in ectopic pregnancy group was found not to be statistically significant p = 0933 . CK values was measured 120 U/I in ruptured ectopic pregnancies and 72.1 U/I in non-ruptured ectopic pregnancy group. Although we have found higher levels of CK in ruptured ectopic pregnancy group it was not statistically significant p = 0512 . Conclusion: The measurement of CK levels as we have evaluated in our study was not sufficient alone in determination both in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy and determination of which ectopic pregnancy has ruptered.

EKTOPİK GEBELİK VE NORMAL GEBELİKTE KAN KREATİN KİNAZ DÜZEYLERİNİN KARŞILAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Amaç: Ektopik gebeliği olan hastaların kreatin kinaz CK düzeyleri ile normal gebelerin kreatin kinaz dü- zeylerinin ölçülüp karşılaştırılması ve böylece kan kreatin kinaz düzeyi ile ektopik gebelik arasındaki ilişkinin ortaya konulması. Gereçler ve Yöntem: Çalışma grubuna; ektopik gebelik tanısı alan ve opere olup histopatolojik olarak tanısı doğrulanan 100 hasta, kontrol grubuna ise 6-8 haftalar arasında normal rahim içi gebeliği olan 100 kadın dahil edilerek grupların kan CK seviyeleri karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Kontrol grubunun ortalama CK değeri 61 U/I iken, çalışma grubunun ortalama CK değeri 86.1 U/I olarak ölçüldü. Ektopik gebelik grubundaki CK değeri yüksekliği istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunma- dı p=0.933 . Rüptüre ektopik gebeliklerde ortalama CK değeri 120 U/I ölçülürken, rüptüre olmayan ektopik gebelik grubunda ortalama değer 72.1 idi. Rüptüre ektopik gebelik grubunda CK değeri yüksek göünse de, istatistiksel anlamlılık bulunmadı p=0.512 . Sonuç: CK ölçümünün, ektopik gebelik tanısında ve ektopik gebelik rüptürünü belirlemede tek başına kullanımı yetersizdir.
