Bu araştırmada okul kültürünün geliştirilmesi ve sürdürülmesinde okul yöneticilerinin rolü incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, nitel bir araştırma deseni içerisinde farklı okullarda görev yapan 18 okul yöneticisinin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri yapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları okul yöneticilerinin okul kültürü kavramı hakkındaki bilgi ve farkındalık düzeylerinin yüksek olduğunu göstermiştir. Okul yöneticilerinin arzu ettikleri okul kültüründe tüm paydaşların okul faaliyetlerine gönüllü katılması, okulda tüm paydaşların kendisini değerli hissetmesi, tüm paydaşların işbirliği içerisinde olması, eğitim açısından etkili ve verimli sonuçlar üretmesi, öğrenci merkezli olması ve milli ve manevi değerlere dayanması öngörülmüştür. İdeal bir okul kültürü oluşturulmasında okul yöneticilerine düşen roller liderlik etme, iletişimi geliştirme ve adalet sağlama başlıkları altında toplanmıştır. İdeal okul kültürünün geliştirilmesi için öncelikli olarak yapılması gerekenler ise daha fazla sayıda nitelikli etkinliklerin gerçekleştirilmesi, yöneticilerin işbirliği içerinde hareket etmesi, iletişimin geliştirilmesi ve adaletin sağlanması şeklinde sıralanmıştır.

In this research, the role of school administrators in developing and maintaining school culture was examined. In this context, a qualitative research design, namely a case study, was employed, and the opinions of 18 school administrators working in different schools, determined through convenience sampling, were sought. The data for the study were collected through structured interviews. The data of the research were collected through structured interviews. The data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The findings of the research showed that school administrators' level of knowledge and awareness about the concept of school culture is high. The school culture that school administrators desire is for all stakeholders to participate voluntarily in school activities, for all stakeholders to feel valued in the school, for all stakeholders to cooperate, to produce effective and efficient results in terms of education, to be student-centered, and to be based on national and moral values. The roles of school administrators in creating an ideal school culture are grouped under the headings of leadership, improving communication and ensuring justice. The priorities that need to be done to develop the ideal school culture are listed as carrying out more qualified activities, administrators acting in cooperation, improving communication and ensuring justice.
