A BRIEF EVALUATION ON TURKISH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Abstract
That Turks
converted to Islam is a significant milestone both for Turkish and world
political history. It is quite obvious that Islam made paradigmatic changes in
both intellectual life and also in political, economic, legal, and social
structures. It is known that, in contrast with the Western World, the
religion-tradition-state trilogy came together under the roof of “Islamic
Reign”. The aim of this study to analyse and evaluate the problems such as the
influence of Islam on the Turkish State tradition, the organisational structure
related to the religion-state relation, and the sustainability of sovereignty
based upon this relation in the light of the documents, information, and
studies which could reach our contemporary age and shed light on the historical
realities. This study has revealed that a magnificent and systemized
organization has been established until the first half of the seventeenth
century. It has been argued that there is a direct proportion between the
fundamental opponents, working of the political instruments properly, that
strengthen this above-mentioned establishment, and the rise of the economic,
legal, social and cultural (science and philosophy) studies. Therefore, it has
been concluded that the non-conflicting relation of religion and state
tradition has played a significant role for Muslim Turks for being a leading
and managing actor in the history of humanity who could interiorise the balance
of the ideal and real world.
