Blind refereeing is applied in our journal.
Manuscripts submitted for publication to JIRSS must be original and not previously published in another journal or submitted for publication. Responsibility in this regard belongs to the authors.
The articles submitted to JIRSS are primarily evaluated by the editorial board in terms of form and substance. In this respect, articles that are not found suitable are sent back to their authors, while those found suitable are directed to the referees.
Scientifically examined articles;
It is published if the report is "can be published" by both referees.
If one of the referees reports "can be published" and the other "not published", the article is sent to a third referee and a decision is made in line with the report of the third referee.
If one or both of the referees report "can be published with correction", the articles are sent back to their authors to make the necessary edits.
During the refereeing process, the authors and referees do not communicate directly, the necessary communication is provided by the editors via e-mail or the DergiPark system.
All studies published in the journal are available for use by public and legal persons, provided that necessary citations are given, and all responsibility of the studies published in the journal belongs to the authors.
Except for academic articles in the journal, if deemed appropriate; field study notes, interviews, congress and workshop notes and book introductions can also be included.
