The Advantages and Disadvantages of Wage Regimes in terms of the USA and Turkey

Abstract

Flexibility or rigidity of wage policies has been the main source of wage theories. In the USA, there has been interiorized a flexible wage system, where the liberalism actors in, on the whole upward flexible, resistant to crisis and providing permanent employment. It can be mentioned that the factors, which are like sectoral, social, employee composition, effective on wage differentials. Wages to be flexible generally have a content effect on the macro indicators. Wage regimes, which implemented in Turkey, induced recessive economy, under competition and unproductiveness on product. Rigid wages would be tempting if the social additional wages. The basic goal of that comparison is, to shape an optimum satisfaction in terms of the sides of wage.

Ücret Rejimlerinin ABD ile Türkiye Açısından Avantaj ve Dezavantajları

Abstract

Emek piyasalarında ücret rejimlerinin esnekliği ya da katılığı, ücret teorilerinin temel çalışma konusu olmuştur. Liberalizmin hakim olduğu ABD’de, genellikle yukarıya doğru esnek, krizlerden daha az etkilenen ve sürekli istihdamı sağlayan esnek bir ücret sistemi benimsenmiştir. Ücret farklarının oluşmasında, sektörel, sosyal, işgücü niteliği gibi faktörlerden söz etmek mümkündür. Ücretlerin esnek olması, makro göstergelere genellikle olumlu yansımaktadır. Türkiye’de uygulanan ücretler ise, ekonomide hareketsizliğe, eksik rekabete ve üretimde verimsizliğe neden olmaktadır. Katı ücretlerdeki sosyal eklentiler çalışanlara cazip gelmektedir. Söz konusu mukayesedeki temel amaç, ücret düzenlemelerinde ücretin tarafları açısından optimum bir tatmin sağlayacak yapı oluşturulmasıdır.
