Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ticaret meslek lisesi öğrencilerinin coğrafya dersine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Kahramanma-raş’ın Elbistan ilçesindeki Elbistan Ticaret Meslek Lisesi’nde öğrenim gören 266 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak Aydın (2009) tarafından geliştirilen tutum ölçeği kullanılmış ve veriler belirli değişkenlere göre SPSS’de analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre, ticaret meslek lisesi öğrencilerinin coğrafya dersine yönelik tutumları genelde olumlu olup, cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemektedir. Buna karşın, sınıf düzeyine göre öğrencilerin coğrafyaya yönelik tutumları-nın 9 ve 10. sınıflar arasında farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir.

The Attıtudes ff Commercıal Vocatıonal Hıgh School Students Towards Geography Lesson (Elbistan Example)

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of commercial vocational high school students towards geography lessons. The sample of the research covers 266 students at Elbistan Commercial Vocational High School in Elbis-tan county of Kahramanmaraş. As data gathering tool, the attitude scale, de-veloped by Aydın (2009) was used and the datum were analyzed with SPSS regarding particular variables. According to the indications of the analysis,Commercial Vocational High School students’ attitudes towards geography lessons are positive in general and have no significative difference according to gender. On the other hand it was put forward that at class levels, stu-dents’ attitudes towards geography differentiated between 9th and 10th grades.
