Determination of Vegetative and Generative Growth of Some Standard Sweet Cherry Cultivars in Bingöl Conditions

Abstract

In this study,phenological observations and annual growth some of the standard sweet cherry cultivars

grown in Bingöl ecological conditions were examined. The planting system was carried out 4x4 meter and

Ziraat 900, Beyaz kiraz and Bing cultivars were used. The trees were observed and recorded 7 times in15-day

period. Results showed that shoot length was between 159.0 cm (Bing) and 11.5 cm (Ziraat 900), shoot diameter

was between 21.0 mm (Bing) and 6.5 mm (Beyaz Kiraz). Results also showed that trunk diameter was between

22.9 mm (Bing) and 3.6 mm (Beyaz Kiraz). Full bloom were also determined between April 27-30 (Ziraat 900)

and April 29-30 (Beyaz Kiraz, Bing).
