The Taxonomy of Dianthus zonatus s.l. and D. preobrazhenskii

Abstract

The presence of Dianthus preobrazhenskii which is a unnoticed species of flora of Turkey is unearthed. In addition, the typification, description and photograph of the species are given. Moreover, it is revealed that D. preobrazhenskii is different from Dianthus zonatus var. zonatus, var. hypochlorus and var. aristatus taxa through taking into consideration of general and seeds morphology.

Abstract

Türkiye Florası’nda unutulmuş bir tür olan D. preobrazhenskii’nin varlığı gün ışığına çıkarıldı. Türün tipifikasyonu, betimlemesi ve resmi verildi. Ayrıca genel ve tohum morfolojisi karakterleri esas alınarak Dianthus zonatus var. zonatus, var. hypochlorus ve var. aristatus ile D. preobrazhenskii’nin farklı taksonlar olduğu ortaya konuldu.
