A New Record for the Acarofauna of Turkey: Molothrognathus bahariensis Ueckermann and Khanjani (Acari: Caligonellidae)

Abstract

Türkiye akar faunası için yeni kayıt olan, Molothrognathus bahariensis Ueckermann ve Khanjani (Acari: Caligonellidae)’in, Pülümür Vadisi’nden (Türkiye) alınan yosun örneğinde bulunan iki dişi ve bir deutonimfinin tanımı gözden geçirilmiş ve türün faz-kontrast mikroskobik görüntüleri sunulmuştur. Molothrognathus bahariensis Ueckermann and Khanjani (Acari: Caligonellidae), a new record for the Acarofauna of Turkey, is reviewed based on two females and one deutonymph specimens found in moss, Pülümür Valley (Turkey). Phase-contrast micrographs of this species are also given here.
