Defne (Laurus nobilis L.) ve Zahter (Thymbra spicata L.) Uçucu Yağlarının Farklı Konsantrasyonlarda Rhyzopertha dominica (Coleoptera: Bostrichidae) ve Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Coleoptera: Silvanidae) Üzerine Fumigant Etkilerinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Defne (Laurus nobilis L.) ve Zahter (Thymbra spicata L.) uçucu yağlarının farklı konsantrasyonlarda Rhyzopertha dominica (Coleoptera: Bostrichidae) ve Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Coleoptera: Silvanidae) üzerine fumigant etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bitkilerin yaprak kısımları uygun şartlarda kurutulup su buhar distilasyonu ile uçucu yağları elde edildi. L. nobilis (12.5, 25, 50, 100, 150 μl L-1) ve T. spicata (12.5, 25, 50, 100, 150 μl L-1) aseton (150 μl L-1) ile çözülerek R. dominica ve O. surinamensis türleri için belirlenen süre ve dozlarda uygulandı. R. dominica için kurulan deney düzeneğinde, L. nobilis için uygulanan ilk doz herhangi bir madde uygulanmayan negatif kontrolle benzer sonuçlar gösterirken, doz ve zaman artışına bağlı olarak ölüm sayılarının arttığı görüldü ve 100 μl L-1 lik dozda 24 saat sonunda %100 fumigant toksisite kaydedildi. Aynı böcek türü için T. spicata uygulaması sonucunda da benzer sonuçlar görülürken en yüksek doz 24 saat sonunda %100 fumigant toksisite gösterdi. Diğer bir depo zararlısı olan O. surinamensis için de aynı bitki uçucu yağları ve dozları kullanılarak bu tür içinde benzer sonuçlar kaydedildi. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde önemli depo zararlılarından olan R. dominica ve O. surinamensis için bitki uçucu yağ ve bileşenleri sentetik pestisitlerin kullanımının azaltılması amacıyla kullanılabilir.

Investigation of Fumigant Effects of Laurel (Laurus nobilis L.) and Zahter (Thymbra spicata L.) Essential Oils in Different Concentrations on Rhyzopertha dominica (Coleoptera: Bostrichidae) and Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Coleoptera: Silvanidae)

Abstract

In this study, fumigant effects were investigated of Laurel (Laurus nobilis L.) and Zahter (Thymbra spicata L.) essential oils in different concentrations on Rhyzopertha dominica (Coleoptera: Bostrichidae) and Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Coleoptera: Silvanidae). For each insect species separately for R. dominica and O. surinamensis species, 12 groups were formed in each group as 20 insects. These groups were the control group, solvent control group (150 μl L-1) include five different doses for L. nobilis. essential oils group (12.5, 25, 50, 100, 150 μl L-1) include five different doses for T. spicata essential oils group (12.5, 25, 50, 100, 150 μl L-1). In the experimental setup for R. dominica, familiar results were obtained from L. nobilis with negative group, and solvent solution group, but mortality increased depend on increase in time and concentration. At the end of 24 hours, 100% fumigant toxicity was recorded in 100 μl L-1 solution. Similar results were obtained with the T. spicata application for the same insect species, with the highest concentration showing 100% fumigant toxicity after 24 hours. Similar results were recorded for O. surinamensis another storage pest, using the same plant essential oils and concentrations. As a result of the data obtained from the plant essential oil and its components, for R. dominica and O. surinamensis can be used instead of synthetic pesticides.
