ARTI DİŞLER (SÜPERNÜMERER DİŞLER)

Abstract

Artı dişler çenelerde görülen gelişimsel bir bozukluktur. Artı dişlerin genetik veya çevresel faktörlere bağlı meydana geldiği düşünülmesine rağmen, etyolojisi bilinmemektedir. Artı dişler bir yada birkaç tane olabildikleri gibi tek taraflı veya çift taraflı olarak konumlanabilirler. Komşu diş kökünde rezorpsiyon, sürekli dişte sürme gecikmesi ve yer değiştirme gibi komplikasyonlara neden olabileceği için bu dişlerin çekimleri gerekmektedir. Bu makalede maksilla veya mandibulada artı dişleri olan dört olgunun klinik özellikleri, tedavileri literatürlerle birlikte değerlendirilmiştir.
