Göz defektlerinin epitez ile tashihleri

Abstract

ÖZET

Bu makalede travmatik veya patolojik sebeplerle yüz ve göz dokularını kaybetmiş olan hastaların içine düştükleri psikolojik çöküntüyü bir dereceye kadar bertaraf etmek üzere Epitez kullanmalarının faydalı olacağı belirtilmektedir.

Epitezle bu hastaların tekrar cemiyete katılabilmeleri hususunda kendilerine güven sağlamaktadır.

SUMMARY

This article discusses the use of facial prostheses, particularly the aspect of people suffering sever psychological problems from loss of eye and face tissue through either travmatic or pathological reasans. Facial prosthesis enable these patients to regain confidence and therefore reappear in society as a whole person.
