Avustralya'daki Kurak Bölgeler

Abstract

Avustralya kıtasının büyük kısmı kurak veya yarı kuraktır. Butt ve Smith (1980) den alınmış Şekil 1 de kurak ve yan kurak bölgelerin dağılımı görülmektedir. Kurak zonda maksimum yaz (Ocak) sıcaklıkları ortalaması 33°C ile 39 °C, ortalama yıllık yağış 100-400 mm arasındadır.
