Lojistik sektörü işletmelerin müşterilerine doğru zaman, doğru fiyat ve doğru miktarlarda hizmet verebilmeleri açısından özel bir öneme sahiptir. Lojistik sektöründe, çalışanın performansını etkileyecek teknolojik gelişmelere yapılan yatırımlar sayesinde hizmet kalitesinin artırılması hedeflenmektedir. Bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinde yaşanan gelişmeler işletmelere rekabet avantajı sağlamakla birlikte çalışanların performansı üzerinde gerek iş yükünün gerekse sürekli izlenmenin getirdiği stres nedeniyle olumsuz sonuçlar da oluşturabilmektedir. Bu kapsamda çalışmada öncelikle lojistik sektöründe çalışan sürücülerin görev esnasında sürekli izlenerek kontrol altında tutulması ve takip edilmesine imkân sağlayan teknoloji tabanlı kontrol sistemleri ortaya konmuştur. Daha sonra söz konusu sistemlerin sürücüler üzerindeki etkileri anket yöntemi ile tespit edilmiştir. Bu amaçla, ülkemizde faaliyet gösteren 168 adet lojistik işletmesinden temin edilen ve 547 anketten oluşturulan veri seti SPSS 15 istatistiksel paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir.Anketlerden elde edilen verilerin analizi neticesinde teknoloji tabanlı kontrol sistemlerin çalışanın iş yeri davranışları üzerinde doğrudan etkileri olduğu belirlenmiştir
Logistics industry is of particular importance for companies by means of serving their customers at correct time, price and amounts. The quality of service is targeted to be increased by the investments made to the technological developments which affect the performance of the employee in the logistics industry. The developments experienced at information and communication technologies provide competitive advantage to the businesses. However, they can also cause negative results over the performance of employees due to the stress caused by continuous tracking and work load. Within this scope technology-based control systems which control the drivers at work in the logistics industry examined initially in this study. Later, the effects of systems on drivers have been determined by survey method. For his purpose, 547 questionnaires were obtained from 168 logistics companies operating in Turkey. The data obtained analyzed by using SPSS 15 statistical software.By the analysis of data obtained from the surveys, it is determined that the technology-based control systems have effects on the behaviors of employee at work.

international trade. The editor in chief of JMML invites all manuscripts that
cover theoretical and/or applied researches on topics related to the interest
areas of the Journal. JMML charges no submission or publication fee.
