Emotional intelligence and leadership orientations among university students
Abstract
ABSTRACT
Purpose: This study aimed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership orientations among university students.
Design and Methods: This study had a descriptive comparative design. The research data were collected using the "Semi-Structured Question Form," the "Emotional Intelligence Scale," and the "Leadership Orientations Scale."
Findings: Results showed that a significant positive relationship was determined between emotional intelligence level and leadership orientations in students in the fields of health, social, and science.
Practice Implications: It is important to develop students' emotional intelligence levels and leadership orientations.
