Abstract
Bu araştırmada Eskişehir Meslek Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencilerin İngilizceye yönelik tutumları değerlendirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin İngilizce’ye yönelik tutumları tespit edilerek İngilizce öğrenme sürecindeki beklentileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarının özellikle ileriki yıllarda eğitim görecek olan öğrencilerin İngilizce öğrenme süreçlerindeki ihtiyaçlarının tespit edilmesinde fayda sağlaması beklenmektedir. Bu çalışma genel özellikleri bakımından betimleyici bir çalışma olarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma 2017- 2018 ve 2018-2019 öğretim yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Eskişehir Meslek Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören öğrencileri kapsamaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin genel olarak İngilizce öğrenmenin önemini kavradıkları ve ingilizce eğitimi için eğitim kurumları tarafından yapılacak çabalara olumlu tepki verecekleri tespit edilmiştir.
Abstract
In this study, the attitudes of students toward English that study in Eskişehir Vocational School have been evaluated. The attitudes of students toward English were determined and their expactations in English learning process were investigated. It is expected that the results of the study will specifically benefit to determine the needs of the students in English learning processes who will study in the years ahead. This study is prepared as a descriptive research in respect to its general characteristics. In this study, the students that study in Anadolu University Vocational School in the academic years of both 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 are investigated. It has been shown in the study that students are generally aware of the importance of learning English and they will
react positively to the efforts made by educational institutions for English language education.
