Sherlock Holmes’un 2009 ve 2011 de yayınlanan iki filmlik serisinde iktisadi düşünce tarihinde birbiriyle çatışan ve kapitalizmin varoluşunun iki temel sınıfını temsil eden Aristokrasi ve Burjuvazi seyirciyle buluşur. İlk filmde Aristokrasi konusu işlenirken, ikinci filmde “Burjuva’nın Refah” artış hikayesi seyirciye aktarılır. Her iki film de ticaretin değiştirici, onarıcı veya yıkıcı etkilerini görmek mümkündür.
