Yoga Yapan Bireylerin Yaygın Kaygı Bozukluğu, Psikolojik Sağlamlık ve Mutluluk Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç; Yoga yapan bireylerin yaygın kaygı bozukluğu, psikolojik sağlamlık ve mutluluk düzeylerinin belirlenmesidir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya yoga yapan 150 kişi katılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veri toplama araçları; “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Yaygın Kaygı Bozukluğu (YAB-7), “Kısa Psikolojik Sağlamlık Ölçeği” ve “Oxford Mutluluk Ölçeği-Kisa Formu” dur.
Bulgular: Katılımcıların yagın kaygı bozukluğu puan ortalamaları 5,25±4,25 olarak bulunmuştur. Katılımcılarının psikolojik sağlamlık puanlarına bakıldığında ortalamalarının 20,02±2.25 olduğu görülmekte olup mutluluk ortalamalarının ise 23,17±3,02 olduğu saptanmıştır.
Katılımcıların yoga yapıyor olmaları ile yaygın kaygı bozukluğu düzeyi arasında negatif yönlü, psikolojik sağlamlık ve mutluluk düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir istatiksel ilişki saptanmıştır (p<.001).
Katılımcıların yaygın kaygı bozukluğu düzeyi ile psikolojik sağlamlık ve mutluluk düzeyleri arasında negative yönde bir ilişki (r=-,318; r=-,256, p<,001) saptanmıştır. Katılımcıların psikolojik sağlamlık ile mutluluk düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı bir ilişki (r=,143, p<,001) saptanmıştır.
Sonuç; Yoga yapan bireylerin yaygın kaygı bozukluğu ile aralarında negatif yönlü, psikolojik sağlamlık ve mutluluk arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki saptanmıştır.
