LİDERLİK DE BULAŞICIDIR, TIPKI DUYGULAR GİBİ …

Abstract

Yaşadığımız küresel köyde herkesin birbirine olan bağımlılığı yüksektir. Benzer şekilde, liderlerin de tüm duygu ve davranışları bulunulan çevreyi hem biyolojik hem de psikolojik olarak etkiler. Liderin ruh haline göre değişim gösteren çevre ve kültür neticesinde, olumlu duygu ve davranışlar ile özellikle takipçilerinin ileride daha iyi bir lider bile olma ihtimali artar.
Liderlik davranışlarının bulaşıcılığı üzerine önermeler sunan bu çalışmada; liderlik duygu, davranış, ruh hali ve tepkilerinin, liderin yönettiği ekip üzerindeki etkilerini bu zamana değin yapılan nitel ve nicel çalışmalar ışığında açıklama amacı güdülmüştür. Çalışma kapsamında kullanılan yöntem, doküman analizidir. İçeriğinde, öncelikle liderliğin bulaşıcılığı üzerine açıklamalarda bulunulmuş, etkili liderliğin bulaşıcılığındaki altı (6) gizem sıralanmış, liderliğin bulaşması ile çevrede görünen etkiler aydınlanmış, önceden yapılan bir çalışma (Zenger ve Folkman, 2016) ile desteklenen en bulaşıcı liderlik davranışları açıklanmıştır. Sonuçta, bir liderin davranışlarını sorgulaması neticesinde içinde bulunduğu duruma uygun duygusal yeterlilikler geliştirmesinin, dalgalanma etkisi ile kolektif bir değişim yaratacağı öngörülmüştür

LEADERSHIP IS CONTAGIOUS, LIKE EMOTIONS …

Abstract

In the global village we live in, everyone's interdependence is high. Similarly, all the emotions and behaviors of the leaders affect the environment both biologically and psychologically. As a result of the environment and culture, which changes according to the mood of the leader, positive emotions and behaviors increase the chances of being even a better leader especially for his/her followers.
In this study, which offers propositions about the contagiousness of leadership behaviors; the aim is to explain the effects of leadership emotions, behaviors, moods and reactions on the team led by the leader in the light of the qualitative and quantitative studies carried out so far. The method used in the study is document analysis. In its content, firstly, statements have been made on the contagiousness of leadership, six (6) mysteries in the contagiousness of effective leadership have been enumerated, the effects seen in the environment with the contamination of leadership have been enlightened, and the most contagious leadership behaviors supported by a previous study (Zenger and Folkman, 2016) have been explained. Consequently, it is predicted that a leader's developing emotional competencies suitable for his / her situation as a result of questioning his behaviors will create a collective change with the effect of fluctuation
