Turistlerin Sorumlu Turizm Algılamaları: İstanbul Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı İstanbul’u ziyaret eden turistlerin sorumlu turizme ilişkin algılarının incelenmesidir. Veriler, Ocak-2021 ile Şubat-2022 arasında İstanbul’u ziyaret eden yerli ve yabancı turistlerden yüz yüze anket tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmaya 401 turist dahil edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde anova ve bağımsız örneklem t testleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara göre, öğrenim durumu ve milliyet değişkenleri açısından anlamlı istatistiksel farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, turizmin tüm paydaşlarına yönelik sorumlu turizm politikalarının geliştirilmesi gerektiği ve özellikle sorumlu turizmin turistler açısından ne anlama geldiğinin farklı çalışmalar ile desteklenmesi gerekliliği ortaya çıkmıştır.

Tourists' Perceptions of Responsible Tourism: A Case of Istanbul

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of tourists visiting Istanbul regarding responsible tourism. The data was collected by face-to-face survey technique from local and foreign tourists who visited Istanbul between January-2021 and February-2022. 401 tourists were included in the research. Anova and independent sample t tests were used to analyze the data. According to the findings, significant statistical differences were detected in terms of education level and nationality variables. However, it has emerged that responsible tourism policies should be developed for all stakeholders of tourism, and especially what responsible tourism means for tourists should be supported by different studies.

This study was ethically approved by the Batman University Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee Decision dated 3 December 2020 and numbered 2020/12.
