Investigating the Impact of Effective Green Design Factors in the Formation of Green Hospitals

Abstract

With the growing population and increasing human dominance over nature, the disruption of nature's order has emerged as a new phenomenon. One of the results of environmental destruction has been the emergence of green architecture, aimed at saving energy and optimizing the use of natural resources. In this regard, sustainable development, which involves the continuous and rational use of natural resources, has been proposed. Among these, the relationship between nature and buildings has been introduced as a fundamental principle of green architecture. This topic has garnered more attention from architects in recent years. Hospitals, considered one of the most polluting sources of the environment, are a particular focus for designers to create more environmentally friendly hospitals by considering effective green design factors. In this regard, the use of modern technologies, green architecture, and design and construction of green hospitals are being studied. The present research aims to examine the topic and effective factors in the formation of green hospitals with a focus on quality and efficiency.
