Abstract
Place of residence is not only a physical location but also an active factor that shapes an individual's fashion perception and daily clothing practices. In this context, the districts of Çankaya and Sincan, which are separated by different lines in terms of their socio-economic structure, were compared. The research uses a quantitative design to examine the differences created by factors such as education level and economic status in processes ranging from brand loyalty to personal image management. SPSS analysis of data collected from 110 participants in 2024 enables discussion of the differentiation between these two regions using concrete data. Frequency and percentage distributions were compared between settlement units. The findings show that socio-spatial differences within the settlement area have a decisive impact on fashion perception, consumption practices, and everyday clothing preferences. Additionally, insights are provided into how individual styles in the digital fashion environment acquire different meanings when considered alongside individuals’ social status and the urban environment in which they live. The study aims to contribute to current research on differences in local fashion culture in Turkey from a socio-spatial perspective.
