Purpose and Scope

Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) is an international journal that aims to contribute to the world of science by publishing academic and scientific studies in an ethical, qualified and original framework. The journal is a peer-reviewed journal and the studies are published after being evaluated by at least two referees. Turkish and English publications are accepted in the journal. Authors submitting articles to the journal must have their work never been published elsewhere. When authors submit their works, they are deemed to have transferred their copyrights. Studies are published through the plagiarism program.

Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) accepts publications in the fields of sports science, sports tourism and recreation. The journal is published electronically twice a year, in June and December.

Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) is a peer-reviewed journal published electronically. The magazine, which publishes every six months, is published 2 issues a year.

Blind Refereeing and Evaluation Process
Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) uses the double-blind method in the evaluation process of all articles. In the double-blind method, the identities of the authors and referees of the studies are hidden. All articles submitted to the Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) journal are evaluated by blinding according to the following stages.

Initial Evaluation Process
Articles submitted to the Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) journal are first evaluated by the editors. At this stage, studies that do not comply with the purpose and scope of the journal, are weak in terms of language and expression rules, contain scientifically critical errors, have no original value and do not meet the publication policies are rejected. The articles found suitable are sent to 2 (two) referees for their evaluation.

Peer Review Process
Articles are directed to the referees according to their content and the field of expertise of the referees. The referees have to guarantee that they will not share any process and document about the studies they evaluate. The time given to the referees for the referee evaluation process is 15 days. Corrections from referees or editors must be completed by the authors within 15 days in line with the "correction report". Referees can examine the corrections of a study and decide whether it is appropriate or request more than one correction if necessary.

Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) journal reviewers respect the author's interdisciplinary tendencies, new method attempts and efforts to create a discussion ground for current issues, aim to expand the author's field of view rather than just looking at the work from his own perspective, not only emphasize the negative aspects of the study, but also indicate the strengths of the research, concrete It clearly reveals the expectation from the author by making suggestions, does not forget the responsibility of checking whether the working method is used correctly, and informs the editor in cases where he does not find himself sufficient in terms of statistics.

Referee Reports
Peer-reviews of the studies in general; It is based on originality, method used, compliance with ethical rules, consistent presentation of findings and results, and review of the literature.

Layout and Type Operations
Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) requires a uniform and complete page layout and printing format in accordance with the formal integrity, readability and standards of the articles. The articles accepted for publication are adapted to the journal publication format by the layout editor.

Plagiarism Policy
Every article sent to the journal for publication is checked by the author/s for plagiarism before being evaluated. In this regard, by using “iThenticate or Turnitin”, examples that overlap with other articles are determined and the articles must be below 20% (without bibliography) plagiarism rate and citations from each publication must not be more than 1%.

Publication Ethics
Journal of Sport for All and Recreation (JSAR) journal editors defend the freedom of expression, operate the relevant processes to ensure the quality of the published articles, do not overshadow the academic ethical standards, take into account the opinions of the authors, readers, referees and editorial board members, and adopt other recommendations brought by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE). They are committed to being in an approach.

JSAR provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research free to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published in the journal are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Non-Derivative 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). The author(s) and copyright holder(s) agree that all users have free access to articles published in this Journal. In order to protect the copyright and rights of the journal, the authors of accepted articles agree to share their articles with others by fully accepting their articles.
