Forecasting the Multiple Decrement Table for 2005

Abstract

A Multi- Decrement table is a probability table of more than one decrement causes versus ages for a given population is included in social security system. These decrements are described as leaving causes of the person included in the system. For example, withdrawal, death and disabled are described as leaving causes. In this research, leaving causes arise with various death causes and a Multi-decrement table is built using the deaths by selected causes and by age groups in 2005. The number of deaths in year 2005 is forecasted from TURKSTAT "Deaths by selected causes and by age groups for year 1961 - 2000" data. The models needed for forecasting is Box – Jenkins models which are the subtitle of Time Series Analysis. Box – Jenkins Models are explaining the structure of the autocorrelation of a time series that allows us to forecast. In conclusion, 3 decrement causes which can be in consequence of death try to estimate the influence of special and social security insurance which for especially health insurance on population.

2005 Yılı İçin Çoklu Azalım Tablosu Öngörümlemesi

Abstract

Çoklu azalım tablosu, sosyal güvenlik sistemine dahil olan belli bir grubun, yaşlara ait birden çok nedenden dolayı azalım olasılıklarının yer aldığı bir tablodur. Bu azalımlar, sisteme giren bir kişinin sistemden ayrılma nedenleri olarak tanımlanabilir. Örneğin, işten ayrılma, ölüm, malulen emeklilik azalım olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu çalışmada, sistemden ayrılışlar çeşitli ölüm nedenleriyle gerçekleşmektedir ve 2005 yılına ilişkin bir çoklu azalım tablosu oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca 2005 yılına ait belirlenen nedenlerdeki ölüm sayıları, TÜİK'ten alınan 1961 - 2000 yılları arasındaki, belirli nedenlere ve yaşlara bağlı ölüm sayıları verileri öngörümlenerek (forecasting) bulunmuştur. Öngörümleme için gerekli olan modeller ise zaman serisi konusunun önemli bir alt başlığı olan Box-Jenkins metodu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Box-Jenkins modelleri zamana bağlı bir serinin otokorelasyon yapısını açıklayan ve böylelikle geleceğe ilişkili tahminler yapmaya imkan veren modellerdir. Sonuç olarak, elde edilen modeller ve çoklu azalım tablosu yardımıyla, özel ve sosyal güvenlik sigortalarının özellikle sağlık sigortası boyutu için sonucu ölüm olabilecek 3 azalım nedeninin toplum üzerine etkisi önceden tahminlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
