2001 Yılında İşsiz Gençlerin Profili Üzerine bir Çalışma

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, DİE tarafından periyodik olarak gerçekleştirilen ve işgücü piyasasına yönelik ayrıntılı verilerin derlendiği Hanehalkı İşgücü Anketi (HİA) 2001 yılı ham verileri ve faktörlü sonuçları kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacı 2001 yılında ülkemizde yaşanan ekonomik krizin işgücü piyasasına olan etkilerini özellikle spesifik bir grup olarak tanımlanan 15-24 yaş grubunda yer alan gençler üzerindeki etkisini dolaylı olarak gözlemlemektir. Bu amaçla 2001 yılı HİA için verilen tahminlerden yararlanarak, 15-24 yaş arasında yer alan gençlerin işsizlik profili ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Verilen yaş grupları içinde yer alan gençlerin profili cinsiyet, öğrenim durumu, işsizlik süresi, daha önceki iş deneyimleri vb önemli değişkenlere göre ortaya konulmuştur.

Youth Unemployment Situation in Turkey in 2001

Abstract

In this paper, Household Labour Force Syrvey's raw and weighted data were used to define youth unemployment situation in Turkey in 2001. The basic target is to measure effects of 2001 economic crisis in young people working situation. For this aim, target population is defined by 15-24 age groups. By this defined age group, to analyse youth unemployment across age, sex, educational status, duration of unemployment etc.
