Değişim Katsayılarının Eşitliğine İlişkin Testlerin I.Tip Hata ve Güç Bakımından Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada değişim katsayılarının eşitliğine ilişkin hipotezler için bazı test istatistikleri tanıtılmış ve karşılaştırılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalar için bir simülasyon çalışması yapılmıştır. Simülasyon çalışması her biri normal dağılımlı farklı yığın sayıları (k = 2, 4 ve 6), farklı örnek hacimleri (n=10, 30, 50 ve 100) ve farklı I. tip hata düzeyleri (α=0,01 ve 0,05) için tasarlanmıştır. Simülasyon çalışmasında değişim katsayılarının eşitliği hipotezini test etmede kullanılan bazı test istatistiklerinin, I. tip hata ve testin gücü bakımından karşılaştırılması yapılmış ve özellikle, testin gücüne ilişkin sonuçların istatistik kuramıyla uyum sağladığı görülmüştür.

Comparison of the Tests for the Equality of Coefficients of Variation in Terms of Type I Error and Power

Abstract

In this study some test statistics for hypotheses regarding the equality of coefficients of variation were introduced and compared with each other. A simulation study was carried on for these comparisons. The simulation study was designed for different populations (k=2, 4 and 6) each having a normal distribution, different sample sizes (n=10, 30, 50 and 100) and different type I error levels (α =0,01 and 0,05). In the simulation study some test statistics that were used to test the hypothesis of equality of variation coefficients were compared in terms of the type I error and the test power and it was observed that especially the results related to the test power was coherent with the statistics theory.
