A New Model Based on Classification Criteria for Ranking Decision Making Units in Data Envelopment Analysis

Abstract

In this study, Multi Criteria Data Envelopment Analysis model based on classification criteria is developed as an alternative to cross efficiency and super efficiency methods in literature for ranking Decision Making Units (DMU) in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Our suggested model considers both relative efficiency concept in data envelopment analysis and minimizing sum of external deviations. The real data set of member of sixteen NATO countries are used in order to show the applicability of our suggested model.

Veri Zarflama Analizi'nde Karar Verme Birimlerinin Sıralanması için Sınıflandırma Kriteri Tabanlı Yeni Bir Model

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Veri Zarflama Analizi (VZA)'nde Karar Verme Birimleri (KVB)'nin sıralanmasında, literatürdeki çapraz etkinlik ve süper etkinlik yöntemlerine bir alternatif olarak, sınıflama tabanlı Çok Kriterli Veri Zarflama Analizi modeli geliştirildi. Önerilen model, hem Veri Zarflama Analizindeki göreli etkinlik kavramını hem de dış sapmalar toplamının minimum yapılması kriterini kullanmaktadır. Önerilen modelin uygulanabilirliğini göstermek için NATO üyesi 16 ülkeye ait gerçek veri seri kullanıldı.
