https://doi.org/10.24288/jttr.465912

Abstract

Being a significant strategical tool, clustering
activities have increasingly been prominent in terms of tourism development.
This study aims to explain what a tourism cluster is; how it is processed, how
its network system is and how tourism clusters are classified. A view about
classification of clusters according to their success and labelling criteria
are presented. There is also information about certain tourism regions in
cluster maps. This study seeks to reveal characteristics of tourism clusters analyzing
certain tourism cluster examples. The study furtherly aims to form a general
framework related to tourism clusters with help of significant tourism clusters
