Ibrahim (in the Old Testament Abram or Abraham, the father of many nations) is one of the prophets who was chosen by God. According to the Qur?an he was a rational man and held to the rational argument for the proof of God. He was setting opposites idolatry and notifying knowledge of God. His method of notification was a rational methodology. He learned this method from God when he asked about resurrection.
