A lot of methods have been used in the debate between theological sects. Among them is the accusation the opponent as being part of another religion. A narration on the accusation of Qadaria as Majûs of this Ummah is one example of these accusations. Giving the opponents some titles was a way of denouncing and rendering them notorious in public opinion. And the term “majûs” was very extensively used to this cause. This article deals with this narration and discussions around it in Kalam history, questioning its authenticity
