Abstract

43 yaşında kadın hasta atipik göğüs ağrısı ve çarpıntı nedeniyle kliniğimize başvurdu. Fizik muayenede apikal sistolik 1⁰ üfürüm tespit edilmesi üzerine ekokardiyografi planlandı. İki-boyutlu ekokardiyografide mitral ön yaprakçığın ventriküler yüzünde kan-kisti tespit edildi. Üç-boyutlu real-time ekokardiyografide bu oluşum tüm yapılarıyla birlikte ayrıntılı olarak gösterildi. İntrakardiyak kan kistleri çocukluk ve süt çocukluğu dönemlerinde sık görülse de, erişkin ve adelosanlarda nadiren görülürler. Bu kistlerin ayırıcı tanısında üç-boyutlu real-time ekokardiyografi iyi bir tanı yöntemidir.

Congenital Blood-cyst on the Anterior Leaflet of the Mitral Valve in an Adult Patient: A Case Report and the Review of the Literature

Abstract

A 43-year-old female patient admitted to our hospital whit the symptoms of atypical chest pain and palpitation. Depending on the 1' systolic murmur at the apical region we scheduled an echographic examination. Two-dimensional echocardiography revealed a blood-cyst on the ventricular face of the mitral anterolateral leaflet. Three-dimensional real-time echocardiography demonstrated the deails of the cystic structure. Although intracardiac blood cysts are common in childhood and infancy, they are rare in adolescents and adults. Three-dimensional real-time echocardiography is helpful in the differential diagnosis of the cysts.
