Tiroit nodüllerinin ultrasonografik, sitolojik ve histopatolojik bulgularının incelenmesi

Abstract

İnce iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi yapılan tiroit nodüllerinin ultrasonografi, sitoloji ve histopatoloji bulgularını karșılaștırmak ve ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisinin etkinliğini belirlemek.YÖNTEM: Radyoloji Kliniği’nde, 01 Ocak ve 30 Haziran 2010 tarihleri arasında tiroit nodülü saptanan ve ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi yapılan 1420 hastanın kayıtları retrospektif olarak incelendi. Ultrasonografi, sitoloji ve histopatoloji bulguları arasındaki ilișki ve uyumluluk araștırıldı.BULGULAR: Çalıșmada 1254 (%88,3) kadın ve 166 (%11,7) erkek hasta yer aldı. Tüm hastaların yaș ortalaması 49,48 yıldı ve hastaların %10,5’i (n=152) ameliyat edildi. Ameliyat olan ve olmayan hastalardaki ortalama nodül çapları sırasıyla 25,5±14,20 mm ve 17,62±9,69 mm’dir.
