Uyku Bozukluğu Kliniğine Başvuran Kişilerin Şikayetlerinin Cinsiyete Göre Dağılım Özellikleri

Abstract

Amaç: Bir uyku bozukluğu kliniğine başvuran kişilerin şikayetlerinin cinsiyete göre dağılım özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Materyal ve Metot: Çalışmanın tipi kesitsel olup 2011-2015 yılları arasında uyku merkezine başvuran 1125 kişi evreni oluşturdu. Bulgular: Araştırmada parametrelerden vücut kitle indeksi, hipertansiyon, horlama, apne, varsanı, hareket edememe (uyku paralizisi), baş ağrısı ve ağız kuruluğu açısından cinsiyete göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulundu.
Sonuç: Çalışmamızda uyku bozuklukları kliniğimize 5 yıllık süre boyunca başvuran kişilerin şikayetleri değerlendirildi ve bazı özellikler açısından cinsiyete göre anlamlı fark saptandı.
