Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to the journal are first subjected to a general review by the Editor-in-Chief and/or the Journal Secretaries. Manuscripts that do not pass this initial review are rejected. Reasons for rejection at this stage include, but are not limited to: the manuscript not adhering to the journal’s formatting guidelines, an iThenticate similarity report exceeding 20%, or the presence of features inconsistent with the journal’s publication principles. Manuscripts that pass the initial review are scheduled for review by the Editorial Board. At this stage, reasons for rejection may include, but are not limited to: the manuscript falling outside the journal’s scope, failure to comply with the journal’s publication ethics and/or principles, or a determination that the manuscript does not meet the criteria for the peer review process. Manuscripts that pass the Editorial Board review proceed to the peer review stage. Reviewers with expertise in the subject area are selected based on the Editorial Board’s recommendations. The manuscript is sent to at least two reviewers in accordance with the double-blind peer review system; if the submitted reports are contradictory or deemed insufficient, additional reviewers may be consulted. Manuscripts requiring revisions as requested by the reviewers are resubmitted for review by the same reviewers after being revised by the authors. At this stage, manuscripts deemed insufficient by the reviewers are rejected. The final decision on publication for manuscripts that pass the peer review is made by the Editorial Board. Positive peer review reports are not binding on the Editorial Board but are given primary consideration in decision-making. The final review and editing of manuscripts deemed suitable for publication by the Editorial Board are carried out by the Editor-in-Chief. Articles written in English and the English abstracts of all articles undergo review by the English Editor at this stage. Plagiarism Policy Articles submitted for publication are expected to comply with the journal’s formatting guidelines, as well as the spelling, punctuation, and general rules of the language in which they are written. Articles submitted to the journal are first reviewed by the editor and the editorial board based on the aforementioned criteria; if deemed suitable, they are then screened for “plagiarism” using various screening software [currently the iThenticate program].
