YÜKSEK TEKNOLOJİ İHRACATININ TEMEL BELİRLEYİCİLERİNİN ANALİZİ: BİR PANEL VERİ

Abstract

Yüksek-teknoloji
ürünleri ihracatçısı ülkeler, yüksek-teknoloji ürünlerinin gelir esnekliğinin
birincil mallara göre daha yüksek olması nedeniyle ihracat hacim ve değerini
daha kolay arttırabilmektedir. Bu kapsamda, çalışmada toplam yüksek teknoloji
ihracatının yaklaşık %90’ını temsil eden 
48 yüksek teknoloji ihraç eden ülke için, geniş bir panel veri seti ve
geniş bir yelpazede ekonomik, politik ve kurumsal değişkenler kullanılarak, yüksek
teknoloji ihracatını belirleyen temel unsurlar araştırılmıştır.  Bu amaçla, 1980-2017 dönemi için beşeri
sermaye, kişi başına düşen milli gelir, ticari açıklık, doğrudan yabancı
yatırımlar, ulusal tasarruf, politik istikrar, reel efektif döviz kuru, dünya
gelir artışı ve patent başvuruları gibi bir dizi göstergenin etkilerini
incelemek için panel sabit etkiler ve Genelleştirilmiş Momentler (GMM) yöntemleri
kullanılmıştır. Tahmin sonuçları; ticaret açıklığın, doğrudan yabancı yatırım
(DYY) girişinin, kişi başına düşen gelir ve beşeri sermayenin ülkelerin yüksek
teknoloji ihracat performansını etkileyen önemli faktörler olduğunu
göstermektedir.
