MİNE BAY’IN EŞİKTE ROMANINDA DEBORDCU PSİKOCOĞRAFYA VE KİMLİK

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Mine Bay'ın Eşikte romanında psikocoğrafyanın rolünü, kahraman Adam'ın yaşadığı kenti nasıl dolaştığını merkeze alarak analiz eder. Guy Debord'un "Dérive" kavramından hareketle, deneme, Adam'ın şehir içindeki plansız dolaşmalarının içsel keşfini nasıl yansıttığını inceler. Tanıdık kentsel peyzaj, Adam'ın kafa karışıklığını ve belirsizliğini yansıtan bir labirente dönüşür. Kentin gizli anlatılar, sabit semboller ve sürekli akışlar gibi psikocoğrafik unsurlarıyla -etkileşim kurarak, Adam kentsel manzarasının gizli katmanlarını yeniden keşfeder ve kendisini daha derinlemesine anlar. Deneme, Eşikte’nin, kent ve benlik arasındaki karmaşık ilişkiyi keşfetmek için psikocoğrafyayı kullandığını savunarak, mekânın keşfinin insan kimliğinin karmaşıklıklarını nasıl aydınlattığını ortaya koyar.
