CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PERCEPTIONS OF HEALTHCARE EMPLOYEES, PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP EXAMPLE

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of Corporate Social Responsibility of healthcare professionals. As another result of the study, it was aimed to determine the level of Corporate Social Responsibility of healthcare professionals in their institutions. The study was conducted in a health institution operating within the scope of public private partnership in the health sector recently in Turkey. In the study, data was collected with the survey method and statistical analyzes were done in the study. In this way, the Corporate Social Responsibility levels of both private sector healthcare professionals and public healthcare professionals in the same institution were investigated in order to make a private-public comparison. As another result of the study, Corporate Social Responsibility levels were determined by taking into account the demographic characteristics of healthcare professionals, their duties in the institution and their working status. As a result, it was concluded that the Corporate Social Responsibility characteristics of healthcare professionals did not differ in terms of their demographics and working status in the institution, but differ in terms of working time in the instituon.

SAĞLIK SEKTÖRÜ ÇALIŞANLARININ KURUMSAL SOSYAL SORUMLULUK ALGILARI, KAMU-ÖZEL ORTAKLIĞI ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma sağlık sektörü çalışanlarının Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada ayrıca sağlık sektörü çalışanlarının bulundukları kurumlarda hangi düzeyde Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk özelliklerine sahip oldukları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, Türkiye’de son dönemde sağlık sektöründe kamu özel ortaklığı bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren bir sağlık kuruluşunda yapılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler anket yöntemi ile toplanmış ve istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Bu sayede aynı kurumda çalışan hem özel sektör sağlık çalışanlarının hem de kamuya bağlı olarak görev yapan sağlık çalışanlarının ayrı ayrı Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk düzeyleri incelenmiş olup, özel ve kamu karşılaştırması da yapılmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca sağlık sektörü çalışanlarının, demografik özellikleri, kurumdaki görevleri ve çalışma statüsü açısından arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığı dikkate alınarak Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk düzeyleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak sağlık sektörü çalışanlarının Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk düzeyinin demografik özellikler ve çalışma statüsü bakımından farklılık göstermediği fakat kurumdaki çalışma süreleri bakımından farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
