The accessible universe of the research is the primary school teacher candidates studying in the department of classroom education of a university in Central Anatolian Region. To represent this universe, 250 primary school teacher candidates formed the sample of the research within the context of an easily accessible case study. The data of the research were collected by the personal information form prepared by the researchers and the First Aid Knowledge Test developed by Deniz Öztürk (2018). Statistical package program was used in the analysis of research data. Percentage, standard deviation and arithmetic mean values as descriptive statistics in data analysis; Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H tests, which are non-parametric tests, were used to analyze the differentiation of data. Bonferroni correction was applied to control Type 1 errors in the analysis of the data. It was concluded that the basic first aid knowledge levels of the primary school teacher candidates who participated in the research were at a medium level In addition, the average scores of the primary school teachers who see the first aid knowledge level are higher than those who do not see themselves as sufficient, and the average scores of those who see the first aid knowledge level partially enough are higher than those who do not consider themselves sufficient.
